We run the product in the target country, with a native speaker and that country’s formats.

TOOLS
Real devices in the target country plus the native-speaker network

A translation can be correct and the product still wrong. A clipped heading, an interface running the wrong way, a decimal comma, an address form that does not fit the country, a payment method nobody there recognises — none of it shows up until a native speaker looks at the screen.

From the checklist

36 check items

Text and layout

Clipping, overflow, wrapping and fixed-width buttons once the translation gets longer.

Formats and units

Date, time, number separators, currency, address and phone formats.

Language and tone

Untranslated strings, machine-translation residue, the wrong register and terms nobody uses locally.

Local context

Payment methods, legal copy, delivery options and third parties that do not work in that country.

How we run it

  1. We list the target markets and, for each, the language, currency, date format and payment methods.
  2. Native speakers use the product end to end on their own devices, with their own regional settings.
  3. We walk the same screens again with the longest translation on the narrowest device — that is where clipping appears.
  4. We compare the formats one by one: amounts, dates, time zones, addresses, phone numbers and sort order.

What you get

  • A language × screen matrix with the state of every cell
  • A screenshot, the device and the regional settings for every finding
  • The list of strings to fix, with their translation keys

Out of scope

  • This is not a translation service; we audit the translation you have rather than write a new one.
  • Whether legal copy satisfies local regulation is your lawyer’s call; we only report what is missing or untranslated.
Typical finding mix

What this typically turns up

  • The German "Manage subscription" button clips; the hit area covers half the label
  • Prices render as 1,299.90 instead of 1.299,90 in the Turkish interface
  • In the Arabic interface the back arrow still points left

Questions about this service

How many languages are covered?

Two languages per package as standard; further languages are priced in the scope approval. We name the languages we have native speakers for in that approval — we do not promise one we cannot staff.

Do you do the translation?

No. We test how the translation you already have behaves inside the product. If we find a bad one we report it; your translation team writes the replacement.

Are right-to-left languages covered?

Yes. For Arabic and Hebrew, direction, alignment, icon mirroring and mixed-direction text form their own group of checks.
